Admire Villa Pisani in Stra without queueing up! The residence, that takes its name from Alvise Pisani, elected Duke in 1735, even if it was built in baroque times by arquitect Francesco Maria Preti, projected by Girolamo Frigimelica who started the works on 1720, following the Paladio's classic tradition with linear and great forms.
Miramare Castle faces the Trieste Gulf , a few kilometers from the north of the homonym city and it was created by the Viennese arquitect Carl Junker between 1856 and 1860, desired by archduke Maximilian of Habsburg, later Emperor of Mexico, that preserves inside it the furniture and original decorations of the era.
